Woodhaven Retirement Community, the only Continuing Care Retirement Community in Livonia.
The Woodhaven Retirement Community is the only full service Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in Livonia, Michigan offering every level of care. Services include independent living apartments with a la carte services, licensed care in assisted living apartments, memory services in a totally secured environment, skilled nursing care, rehabilitation and adult day services. Woodhaven is proud to partner with Agility Health in offering high quality rehabilitative services and post-acute care.
Woodhaven is a small-scale service center that focuses on person-centered (individualized) care, and we deliver that service 24/7 in four separate neighborhoods, each with approximately 30 residents. Each neighborhood has its own bistro dining and family room. The adult day respite program is the only one in Michigan open from 5:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. 365 days per year. Each resident of Woodhaven receives VIP treatment!
Woodhaven is a not-for-profit, faith-based community where active seniors can live and learn and grow. Our residents and their families take comfort in the security of having all levels of care and services on one distinct campus, from retirement through end of life.
Woodhaven's senior apartments offer residents a beautiful and restful location to enjoy their retirement: a magnificent nature preserve that offers four seasons of tranquility, beauty and color. Visitors often comment that it feels like they are “up north,” a favorite vacation destination for many.
This heavily wooded and secluded parcel of land in the heart of Livonia, on the far west side of Detroit, offers access to all the benefits of a major metropolitan area, combined with the peaceful retreat of living away from the noise and fast pace of the city. A major expressway is just 1-1/4 miles away—close enough for easy travel, but far enough away that traffic can neither be seen nor heard. The only sounds you'll hear at Woodhaven are the birds chirping and gentle breezes rustling the leaves.
Anyone interested in partnering with Woodhaven is invited to visit homepage of the Woodhaven Retirement Community Endowment Fund, Inc.
Note: The Woodhaven Retirement Community Endowment Fund is a legal entity separate from Woodhaven Retirement Community and is intended to assist, not supersede, current fundraising efforts for Woodhaven Retirment Community's facilities and operations.
