Assisted Living & Memory Services Under One Roof

In addition to our Woodpointe independent living community, Woodhaven also offers assisted living and memory services neighborhoods – two distinct boutique neighborhoods under one state license. Our program is the first and longest-running facility of its kind in the Livonia area, and we create the safest, least restrictive, most home-like environment possible for your loved ones. Our employees build strong, long-term relationships with our Residents, working together with their families to create a personal service plan.

Residents in Woodhaven's Assisted Living and Memory Services Centers are offered three meals daily, including a variety of physician-ordered therapeutic diets and nighttime nourishments. Medications are administered only with a doctor’s order, and careful documentation of all medication, accepted or refused, is maintained. Daily housekeeping is provided and all laundry is done for the Residents including their personal laundry.  A wide variety of physically, mentally and socially stimulating programs are offered and some of those include day trips throughout the state.

A physician visits weekly, a podiatrist comes monthly, and vision, dental and audiology services are provided quarterly. Should the need arise for lab work or x-rays, those are also done at the facility. No one is ever obligated to use any of these professional services. Should residents need skilled nursing services and/or Medicare covered rehabilitation, they are given waiting list priority and simply move down the hall until their health issues have resolved.
