Families and residents recommend Woodhaven Retirement Community.
"Gratitude is from the heart; thank you from our hearts. Words seem so inadequate to express our deepest appreciation for the tender, loving, wonderful care and concern given to our Dad and family. We know that your job sometimes is very difficult but you ALL have truly made a difference in our lives. Thank you for your labors of love. Keep up the great work!" MRB
"My father’s last months were happier than we could have imagined because of you and the excellent care you took of him, and I wanted to thank you. It even surprised him to realize how much he enjoyed his life at Woodhaven. He made friends and spoke highly of his caregivers. I was in town with my sisters and brothers for his last week, and I saw for myself the high standard of care and genuine concern all of you had for him. You have my heartfelt gratitude for the happiness and contentment my father experienced during his time at Woodhaven." SO
"I wanted to take the time to tell you what at wonderful staff you have, from nursing, dietary, housekeeping and front office. Everyone from the time I walked in to find out about Woodhaven was kind, informative and friendly. It is such a home-like atmosphere. The nursing care my husband received is the best there is. He was treated with respect and dignity, and of course the best nurses aides around. I have been in nursing for 27 years and I was watching out for his care and the care of other residents. You should be very proud to work at Woodhaven. I tell everyone I meet about your home. It is the best of the best. I thank you and my children thank you for the wonderful care you gave my husband in his last days." BW
"The family wishes to thank all of you for your professional, loving care provided while our mother was a resident for nearly four years. We had transferred mother from a supposedly top-notch facility in the area because we were not satisfied with the atmosphere of the place and the monthly costs were exorbitant. I am so glad we moved mother to Woodhaven. The Christian emphasis at Woodhaven is something mother appreciated very much. As you leave Woodhaven, there is a sign that says, “Thank you for praying for Woodhaven.” Believe me, we do." JDW & RKW
"It is with deep regret that I write this letter. However, had it not been for your staff over the last 10 months this letter would be a much more difficult task. From our first contact to the last phone call, I cannot begin to express my gratitude. All of the staff, which is far too many to mention, became a part of my Father’s extended family. I always felt warm and welcome whenever I entered Woodhaven to see my Father. I cannot begin to express my Father’s comfort level. After one of his few trips to the hospital my Father asked, “Now you are saving my room at that Woodhaven place, right?” Thank you all for making this difficult stage of our life a little bit better." "I’m writing to you today to express my deep appreciation for the entire Woodhaven staff. My mother lived at Woodhaven for five and a half years. My Grandmother also lived there for approximately a year and a half. The staff was friendly, helpful and compassionate, and truly cared for the patients at Woodhaven. Woodhaven was always kept clean and was a peaceful place to live. Mom and I enjoyed many walks along the lovely gardens on the grounds. Mom really enjoyed the numerous activities at Woodhaven. The art projects, musical presentations, movie night, library trips, Christmas parties, barnyard animals, pet-a-pet visits, Thanksgiving dinner and especially singing hymns around the piano, just to name a few. As the years progressed and Mom’s health declined, the staff knew what Mom needed and provided it for her. The staff was very patient and kind to her. I thank everyone who has been involved in my Mom’s care. My mom was extremely comfortable at Woodhaven and I would recommend Woodhaven to anyone who was in need of a home for his or her loved one. Thank you for providing a wonderful service to our community." JF
